All-veteran wellbeing project

Are you an Armed Forces Veteran, a family member of a Veteran, or someone who cares for a Veteran living in the Black Country?

Tough Enough To Care (TETC) is proud to deliver the All-Veteran Wellbeing Project, funded by Thrive Together, designed to promote emotional wellbeing as a routine part of life for Veterans and their families.

This FREE project offers:

  • Mental Health Awareness Training Sessions (in-person & online)
  • 12-Week Personal Empowerment Programme based on The Mindset Principle
  • Regular Peer-to-Peer Support Groups across the Black Country
  • Access to our Veteran Ambassador Network for ongoing peer support.

Open to all Veterans, their family members, and carers aged 16+ living in Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall, or Wolverhampton.

We can also train staff and volunteers to deliver the ‘Mindset Principle’, a 12-week emotional wellbeing journalling programme, empowering people to a more positive mindset and to become more in tune with their emotional understanding and resilience.

TETC welcomes all opportunities to come into your group/club/venue to deliver the sessions, in an environment already known and comfortable to the people you work with and support. In addition to this, if you are aware of any Veterans groups that currently operate under the radar, please fell free to make an introduction, as these groups are often the life blood of Veteran support and are a great way to access more hard to reach veterans and those within the veteran community.
